PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting container assuring a high safety characteristic under a low cost. SOLUTION: A transporting container 10 stores a transported item including toxic content in a storing chamber 15 and transports it. The storing chamber 15 is sealingly closed by a double partition wall, and absorbing members 16 are loaded to each other in clearances 14 of the double partition wall. The absorbing members 16 are loaded entirely or partially in the clearances 14 of the double partition wall to each other. The absorbing members 16 are arranged continuously within the clearances 14 of the double partition wall with at least a part of them not being interrupted. It is also possible to arrange an absorption member block 20 together with it comprised of absorption block at a proper location in the storing chamber 15.
