PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make applications with a plurality of language types available. SOLUTION: In a portable information processing apparatus, at least a nonvolatile memory and information processing means are provided, and a plurality of virtual machines corresponding to different program languages are stored in the nonvolatile memory. An identification code (4) indicating language type is embedded at the head of function for executing a program, and also a management table indicating correspondence of the identification code with the virtual machine is stored in the nonvolatile memory. Based on the virtual machine corresponding to every function, the program is executed. |
