PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To edit and print printing data stored in a removable external storage medium by an imaging apparatus itself without depending on the host computer. SOLUTION: A PC card reader (removable external storage medium reading unit) 500 for reading printing data stored in a PC card (removable external storage medium) 510 is disposed in an image inputting system (imaging apparatus: copying machine) 100 so as to be connected with a controller part 110. The controller part 110 of an image inputting system 100 reads cut the printing data stored in the PC card 510 by the PC card reader 500 according to an operation of an operating part 150 so as to print the same by a printer part 300. Furthermore, it edits the read out printing data so as to store the same again in the PC card 510. Furthermore, it executes a process of deleting the printing data from the PC card 510.
