PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biochemical inspection method capable of investigating the state of a biochemical reaction in each probe array element exactly. SOLUTION: The inspection method comprises the steps of capturing an optical image as a reference one by illuminating a reference array containing luminescent molecules with an excitation light, capturing an optical image as a sample one by illuminating a biochemical inspection array with the same excitation light as the above light, and making a correction to the sample optical image with the reference one.
