PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of suppressing the deterioration of battery performance by the air blowing by an electric blower. SOLUTION: Power is supplied by two or more battery bodies 20a provided within a battery pack 30 to drive the electric blower 29. Dust is sucked from an intake port 23 to a dust separation device 25 together with the air. The dust in the intake air is separated by the dust separation device 25 and accumulated in a dust collection chamber 26. The intake air treated by the dust separation device 25 is passed through an air passage 27. The residual minute dust is removed by an auxiliary dust collecting filter 28, and carried to the blower 29. The intake air passed through the blower 29 is carried to the battery pack 30. The intake air cools the battery pack 30 and discharges out from an outlet 24 through each exhaust port 31. The noise in exhaust is reduced. The heat generated from the battery body 30a is efficiently discharged outside. The deterioration of performance of the battery body 30a can be suppressed to extend the generation life per charge. The intake air is brought into contact with the inside surface of the battery pack 30 and then discharged. The noise of the blower 29 can be reduced.
