PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a print job, that controls a print job from a terminal or a print job from an image read means and to provide an image forming device. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with an interface 11, an image read section 12, a data management section 13, a sequence control section 14, and a print processing section 15. The sequence control section 14 compares a print job requiring a prescribed number of print processing time or more in existence in a job queue with another print job requiring a prescribed number of print processing times or more after the print job requiring a prescribed number of print processing time or more and applies print processing to a print job requiring a prescribed number of print processing time or below in precedence over the print job requiring a prescribed number of print processing time or more when the print job requiring a prescribed number of print processing time or below exists. Thus, the sequence of the print jobs is replaced with each other depending on the print processing time without the need for awaiting the completion of a time-consuming print job. |
