PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade the increase of the scale of a decoding circuit in a state machine circuit determing a state by a plurality of input factors. SOLUTION: The state machine circuit 1 connected to a state transition chart 20 and an external circuit 30 uses a transition factor conversion table 6 and converts the input factor supplied from the external circuit 30 to a transition factor number suited to the state transition chart. Also, when a plurality of factors are set as input, one input factor is selected according to information stored in a state transition processing order information storage part 3 and the state transition chart 20 is referred to according to the selected input factor. |
