SHEET FOR CLEANING AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A sheet for cleaning characterized by comprising at least one sheet substrate selected among a nonwoven fabric, Japanese paper, film, foamed sheet, and knitted or woven fabric and coated or impregnated with a dry detergent comprising (a) 30 to 70 wt.% at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of amphoteric surfactants and C8−22 fatty acid amide propylamine oxides, provided that the total surfactant amount is 40 wt.% or larger, and (b) 1 to 15 wt.% polyoxyalkylene glyceryl ether (in which the alkylenes have 2 and/or 3 carbon atoms). It is characterized also in that just before use water or hot water is added to the sheet to cause it lather. The cleaning sheet lathers well and is excellent in denseness and stability of the lather and in detergency. It neither gives a stretched feeling to the skin after use nor irritates the skin. It is excellent in making the skin moist and slippery. It diminishes a dull appearance of the skin and heightens the luster and elasticity of the skin. It is excellent in portability and quality stability.
