<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which corrects frequency errors due to the temperature characteristic of an SAW filter, and to provide a method of correcting the frequency errors of the communication device. SOLUTION: In the communication device 1, when the frequency deviation ofΔf is generated at the center frequency of the SAW filter 14a on the reception side due to temperature, a local signal to be output from a PLL 16 is deviated byΔf, so as to be mixed with a reception signal, and the center frequency of the received signal is deviated byΔf. In succession, the received signal, whose center frequency is deviated byΔf, is passed through the SAW filter 14a. After the received signal has been detected by quadrature detection, frequency errors of the received signal are eliminated in a BB part 20. On the transmission side, the frequency error corresponding toΔf is contained, in advance in a transmitted signal in the BB part 20, so as to be supplied to an RF part 10. By making the local signal, which is supplied from the PLL 16, deviated byΔf orΔf' and subjected to orthogonal modulation and is up- converted, the frequency errors of the transmitted signal are eliminated.</p> |
