<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation oil cleaning method for the terminating end part of oil-immersed cable, which enables simple cleaning of the insulation oil which is filled in the terminating end part of oil-immersed cable of high-pressure CV cable. SOLUTION: The insulation oil cleaning method for the terminating end part of oil-immersed cable has in the terminating end part of oil-immersed cable, where insulating oil is filled in an insulator tube, the insulation oil filled in the terminating end part being extracted, in the amount to the extent of not producing negative pressure in the terminating end part, from an oil-pouring connector provided on the cable protective copper tube, insulating oil with a small water content is heated and newly poured, in an amount corresponding to the extracted amount into the terminating end part through the oil-pouring connector, the oil of which is left still, as it is for a given period of time, and then the insulation oil is extracted a plural number of times in approximately the same amount as stated and insulation oil with small water content is heated and poured by the same amount, corresponding to the extracted amount and is left still, as it is for a given period of time, and this operation is repeated a plural number of times, thereby reducing water content in the insulation oil, resulting in the cleaning thereof.</p> |
