PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of obtaining a large reduction ratio and converting into high torque. SOLUTION: An input-side angular bevel gear 11 and an output-side angular bevel gear 12 different from each other in the number of teeth are mounted oppositely to each other in a state that their teeth 37, 29 are not engaged with one another in a neutral state, the input-side angular bevel gear 11 is pressed by plural pressing rods 24 vertically moved by fluid pressure through a ball bearing 39 to be oscillated at a predetermined oscillation angle step by step, and is prevented from being rotated by a guide pin 47, further the input and output side angular bevel gears 11, 12 are mounted in a state that a vertex of each pitch face of the gears 11, 12 is agreed with a central point of the ball bearing 39, and a central line of the guide pin 47 and the central point of the ball bearing 39 are arranged on a straight line.
