An evacuable bag having an evacuation passageway (4) formed in a bag main body (1) having a contents outlet/inlet portion (2) and composed of soft impermeable sheets (11, 12), wherein the evacuation passageway (4) comprises an opening (11a) formed in the sheet (11) and a soft cylindrical air passageway communicating with the opening (11a), the air passageway serving to cut off the flow of air from outside the bag main body (1) to the interior, and the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner or the like is inserted through the opening (11a) into the air passageway, whereby the air is discharged from the inside of the bag main body (1) into the outside. Since the bag main body (1) and the evacuation passageway (4) are soft, the entire evacuable bag can be made soft. Furthermore, there is no possibility of the air passageway (41) projecting out of the bag main body (1), and during use or storage, the air passageway (41) never becomes an obstacle. Further, since both are made of soft material, the bonded portions of the two will never separate even if an external force is applied thereto. |
