<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of well reproducing both a one-dot image and another image under the same image forming conditions even when high density recording with >=1,200 dpi is carried out, to provide an image forming method using the electrophotographic photoreceptor and capable of forming an image of hight image quality and to provide an electrophotographic device capable of outputting image of high image quality by using the electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 has a photosensitive layer 4 containing an organic electric charge generating material, an organic electric charge transporting material and at least one organic bonding resin on an electrically conductive substrate 2. When the capacitance and thickness of the photosensitive layer 4 are represented by C (pF/cm<2> ) and (d) (μm), respectively, the product of C and (d) is >=3,100 and the thickness of the layer 4 is >18 to <25μm. An image is formed by carrying out at least one step selected from a step for forming a latent image on the photoreceptor 1 by digital exposure with >=1,200 dpi resolution, a step for forming a latent image on the photoreceptor 1 by digital exposure with <=60μm spot diameter and a step for carrying out development with a toner having <=8μm weight average particle diameter.</p> |
