PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of having a possibility of destroying a transistor for horizontal drive because a power supply voltage does not go up sufficiently in a horizontal deflection circuit to cause overcurrent to flow to the transistor for horizontal drive when the power supply voltage is low. SOLUTION: This horizontal deflection circuit provided with the transistor 5 for horizontal drive and a resonance circuit 6 for horizontal resonance, is provided with a detection circuit 8 for detecting the level of the power supply voltage fed to a horizontal drive circuit, and forcedly turns off the transistor for horizontal drive when the level of the power supply voltage is not higher than a prescribed value. |
