<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint which can connect pipes to each other, clean the inside of the connected pipes by feeding cleaning gas or liquid without disconnecting the pipes, and easily discharge the taken-in fluid running in the pipe, and a cleaning method for cleaning the inside of the pipes by connecting a cleaning fluid feeding means to the joint. SOLUTION: In the joint 2 for connecting the pipes to each other and feeding or discharging the gas or the liquid and the cleaning method for the inside of the pipe by using the joint, the joint 2 has a tightening ring 4 comprising a rubber ring 3 for joining the pipes and having a through hole 8 in the radial direction, a tightening ring part 9 which presses the rubber ring 3 against each pipe and tightens the pipes with each other, and a hollow cylindrical part 5 continuous to a hole made in the radial direction of the tightening ring part 9, and the through hole 8 and the cylindrical part 5 are disposed toward the same direction.</p> |
