PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for enhancing amusement in a game and giving variation to the game by changing the setting of effective lines in relation to the storage number of start rights. SOLUTION: The game machine 100 is provided with a variation display device 4a for varying and displaying multiple kinds of identifying information respectively in a plurality of variation display areas A-I and a controller 20 which performs a variation display game for varying and displaying the multiple kinds of identifying information respectively in a plurality of change display areas based on the start rights which are generated in response to the establishment of a prescribed condition, which performs control to generate a special game state advantageous to a game player, as a result of the variation display game, in relation to an identifying information combination to be a specified mode on at least one line of the preset effective lines (1) to (8) and also which stores a prescribed number of start rights in the variation display game. The setting of the effective liens can be varied in connection with the storage number of start rights.
