PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide impartial opportunities of network use of an identical client computer for each of the users. SOLUTION: In the network system which is configured by including a server, a client and a gateway which controls the connection between the server and the client, use is made of an access control device which receives identification information for specifying a client, and based on the information, specifies a client and stores the usage status of the client, and based on the usage status, sends an indication to the gateway for controlling the access of the client to the server.
