PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for extrusion whereby the vertical length and the horizontal length in the section of a ceramic extruded body prepared by a method of extrusion can be made the same even after the shape of the body changes under its own weight. SOLUTION: The die for extrusion for preparing the ceramic extruded body is constituted of an extrusion material supply part, an extrusion groove part and a frame part, and a large number of through holes are juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction, spaced from each other by partition walls. The vertical distance between the inner walls of the frame part is longer than the horizontal distance between them.
