PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a desired piece of information by surely and easily grasping it by moving it on an object. SOLUTION: The electronic expansion device positions a desired image and expands the image. The device is provided with lenses 3, 5 to pick up the image and form it on an image formation screen 6, a half mirror 4 placed on routes of the lenses 3, 5, an image pickup device 8 to receive the light reflected on the half mirror 4 and a substrate 9 having a circuit to output an expanded image signal to an external display device based on the image signal converted by the image pickup device 8.
