SOLUTION: The data collating device is provided with a formant estimating section 105 for estimating feature value data representing the temporal fluctuations of frequency of the first and second formant from speech data inputted from a microphone 101; a different calculating section 106 for obtaining the difference between standard featured value data, stored in a standard feature value data storage section 107 and the feature value data as featured value difference data; a write-in section 110 for registering the feature value difference data at a database 111; and a collation processing section 113 for outputting the result of collation after collating the feature value difference data, corresponding to the speech data inputted at the time of the collation and the featured value difference data registered at the database 111.
