PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic failure judgment for noncontact type IC cards in a short-time. SOLUTION: The AC voltage of a single-frequency AC power source 21 coinciding with the tuning frequency of a noncontact type IC card 10 is transmitted to the IC card 10 from a signal transmitting unit 22. From the current value of an ammeter 24 and the voltage value of a voltmeter 23 at that time, an impedance is calculated in an impedance calculating unit 25, and the value is compared with a normal value by a comparator (failure judgment) unit 27 to judge the occurrence of a failure and its kind. |
