<p>In order to open the sheath of an optical fiber, the inventive device comprises two diametrically opposed cutting tools (130) in addition to two pairs of turning guides (120) on both sides of said tools along the positioning axis (AA) of the cable. In order to displace the cutting tools, such as cutting disks, simultaneously in opposite directions, said tools are freely rotationally mounted on sliding nuts (133) which are screwed on the threadings, in opposite directions (135, 136), of an adjustment screw. Similarly, the turning guides of each pair are displaceable in opposite directions by sliding nuts (122) which are mounted on the threadings, in opposite directions (123, 124), of a screw.</p> |
