Therapeutically active cpds. consisting of a chemical condensation product of a first antimalarially active cpd. with a second antimalarially active cpd. Preferred cpds. are those of formula (I): - (I) A - N = N - B - where A is the residue of a sulphonamide or sulphone (e.g. a residue of the formula: - where M is H or a substd. homocyclic or heterocyclic aromatic residue); and B is the residue of a quinoline (e.g. a residue of the formula: - where R1 is OH or alkoxy, R2 is a divalent straight or branched aliphatic residue and R3 and R4 are H or lower alkyl); cpds. where B is a naphthoquinone residue are also mentioned.
