PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device to enable maintenance of an air bag in an expansion state for a given time. SOLUTION: A peripheral protrusion 3b is protruded in the vicinity of a gas delivery port 1a of a gas generating means 1 formed in a cylindrical state. By fastening both sides of the protrusion 3b by a fastening means 5, a gas introduction port 4a of the air bag 4 is fastened against the gas generating means 1, and by fastening the fastening means 5, the gas introduction port 4a is contact-bonded in linear contact against the top part of the protrusion 3b. Since a gap is not produced between the gas delivery port 1a and the gas introduction port 4a, gas in the air bag 4 is prevented from leakage through the fastened part between the gas delivery port 1a and the gas introduction port 4a. Since this constitution maintains the air bag 4, expanded and developed, in an expansion state for a given time, the air bag 4 is effectively functioned even when an automobile effects roll over. |
