PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter-reading tool for electric power, gas, a water line or the like providing positive reading of numbers without reversing the numbers displayed on a meter. SOLUTION: The meter reading tool is provided with a rod-like body 20, a camera part 10 attached to one end of the rod-like body 20 and picking up an image of a meter, and an image transmitting part to a display device 2 displaying the picked up image. The image transmitting part is a terminal connecting part 36 for connecting a connection terminal of the display device 2.
