<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device for narrow area communication capable of preventing an erroneous recognition of an on-road device that communication with a new on-vehicle device for communication has started. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle device for narrow area communication mounted on a vehicle has a high frequency circuit 2 sending and receiving data with the on-road device via an antenna 1, a control microcomputer 3 controlling the high frequency circuit 2, and a nonvolatile memory 4 storing the data, and it carries out narrow area communication between the on-road device including an automatic toll collecting process. The control microcomputer 3 saves an on-road device identification number and an identifier for registering communication used in execution of the narrow area communication in the nonvolatile memory 4, and if a received on-road device identification number is the same as the saved on-road device identification number in next communication, it carries out communication by using the last used identifier for registering communication saved in the nonvolatile memory 4.</p> |
