<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure for a connection box, which can make heat radiation of a directly embedded type power cable efficient, and can reduce the width of a joint bay. SOLUTION: This structure possesses a power cable 2, which is to be embedded directly in the ground, a connection box 4 for a power cable, which is to be embedded in the ground likewise, and a heat-radiating plate 6 which is to be arranged between the power cable 2 and the connection box 2 and the surface 5 of the ground. Since this can easily radiate the heat generated by the power cable or the connection box to the surface of the ground, this can prevent the maximal reached temperature of a conductor from increasing by more than the allowable value, and can reduce the width of a joint bay.</p> |
