PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide external facing material mounting structure improved in waterproofness, workability, and the like without flapping after work execution. SOLUTION: This external facing material mounting structure comprises an external facing material A of plate shape and a waterproof fixture. The waterproof fixture B is formed of a panel strip part 6 of horizontal plane shape; waterproof pieces 7 projected upward from both right and left end parts of the panel strip part 6; a lower piece 8 projected upward from the lower edge of the panel strip part 6; a locking piece 9 projected inward form the tip of the lower piece 8; and an upper piece 11 projected by bending the upper edge of the panel strip part upward. The waterproof fixture B is fixed to the back faces of joint partsγof the lateral connection parts of the external facing material A, and the lower end of the external facing material A is fixed by the locking piece 9.
