PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which noise incident to the refrigerant flow of an accumulator can be eliminated after stopping a compressor. SOLUTION: An accumulator 11 comprises a hollow container 11a, an inlet tube 10 having one end connected to the cooler side and the other end provided with an oil return hole 10a and inserted into the hollow container 11a, and an outlet tube 12 having one end fitted in the hollow container 11a and the other end being connected with a suction pipe. A pipe 14 having one end being fitted in the oil return hole 10a of the inlet tube 10 and the other end extending inwardly into the inlet tube 10 is provided in the inlet tube 10.
