PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual device container for hypothetically expanding a function of a network device on a network to support a plurality of function application modules inside a server on the network. SOLUTION: A function request including receiving the function request sent from one of the function application modules corresponds to the network device. Including selection of one of a plurality of function component modules in response to the function request, the respective function component modules correspond to respective function application modules, while the selected function component module matches the application module sending the function request. The virtual device container operates the selected function component module according to the function request, and the respective function component modules communicate with the corresponding function application module via a first interface and communicate with the network device via a second interface. |
