PURPOSE: A check dam is provided to reduce the costs required for re-construction of a check dam. CONSTITUTION: The check dam comprises: a primary through hole(112) bored into a vertical member of a unit assembly located on the uppermost end; four nut plates(200) provided with a secondary through hole(202) corresponding to the primary through hole(112) and a third through hole(204) projected to the upper part of the vertical member; many nuts(220) fixed to the inside of the nut plates(200) to correspond to the secondary through hole(202) and the third through hole(204); a bolt(210) fastened with the nut(220) by passing through the primary through hole(112) and the secondary through hole(202); a cover(230) formed to cover up the outer side of the nut plate(200) projected to the upper end of the vertical member and provided with a fifth through hole(232) corresponding to the third through hole(204); and a temporary assembly bolt(210) fastened with the nut(220) by passing through the fifth through hole(232) and the third through hole(204).
