PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric clamp device capable of buffering an impact generated when a clamp arm reaches the terminal position of the movement thereof. SOLUTION: This electric clamp device is provided with a rotary driving unit 14 for rotating with an electric signal, a gear mechanism 16 for transmitting the rotary driving force of the rotary driving unit 14, a ball screw mechanism 50 for converting the rotary movement transmitted by the gear mechanism 16 to the linear movement, a toggle link mechanism 26 for converting the linear movement transmitted by the ball screw mechanism 50 to the turning movement of the clamp arm, and an air cushion mechanism 18 for buffering an impact to be generated when the clamp arm 20 reaches the terminal position of the movement thereof.
