PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance correction device which has the satisfactory reproducibility for balance correction and can correct a very small imbalance, and to provide a rotating device having the balance correction device. SOLUTION: A waveformed groove 25, periodically changing in the rotating axial direction, is formed on the outer surface 23a of a moving path 23. With this construction, in an initial stage of rotation, when a ball 17 cannot follow the rotation of the moving path 23, the ball 17 is accelerated by the friction between the ball 17 and the groove 25 to follow the rotation of the moving path 23 and moved quickly to a balancing position to corrects the imbalance. When the rotation of the moving path 23 reaches a steady state, since the ball 17 rotates with a speed which is approximately the same speed as that of the moving path 23, the friction between the ball 17 and the groove 25 is hardly produced and the ball 17 moves smoothly along the groove 25, while being brought into contact with both the edges of the groove 25 by a centrifugal force and reaches the balancing position.
