PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable dishwasher. SOLUTION: A washing tub 1 having an opening 1o in the upper portion and storing objects W to be cleaned is organized horizontally or nearly horizontally detachably relative to a body casing 2. A lid 4 to open and close the opening 1o of the washing tub 1 is provided in the upper portion of the body casing 2 so that it may open the opening 1o when the washing tub 1 is stored in the body casing 2 and close the opening 1o when the washing tub 1 comes out from the body casing 2. The bottom in the body casing 2 is covered with a corrosion resistant material 5 of a sheet or plate form.
