SEQUENT UPDATE ADAPTIVE TYPE EQUALIZER AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A sequent update adaptive type equalizer and fabricating method thereof are to improve the power efficiency of the equalizer and perform the stable operation. CONSTITUTION: An adaptive equalizer comprises: a first equalizer(20) for sampling the input signals and reducing the interference noises in the sampled signals; a controller(30) for controlling the first equalizer to be varied by sampling the signals output from the first equalizer with the symbol units and applying the defined values; a slicer(50) for controlling the controller by using the output of the controller as the input, detecting the signals and feed backing the output signals into the controller; a second equalizer(60) for controlling the controller by using the output of the slicer and the output of the controller as the inputs to reduce the interference noises of the input signals and stabilizing the output of the controller; and an update controller(40) for controlling the update of the first and second equalizers as to reduce the interference noises in the input signals.
