PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sensitive recording material, which has a favorable heat resistant preservability of a colored image part and of a non-colored ground part though having high heat response properties and color developing density and by which the amount of scum depositing on the heat sensitive head of a heat sensitive printer is a few and consequently no printing difficulty develops even during a long distance printing. SOLUTION: In this heat sensitive recording material, in which a heat sensitive layer including an electron donable normally colorless or light-colored dye precursor and an electron acceptable compound, which forms color in the dye precursor through the reaction therewith under heat, the electron acceptable compound includes at least one kind of compounds selected from the group consisting of at least one kind of specified benzene sulfonamide derivatives, a 3-dibutylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran, 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7-(2-toluidino) fluoran, 3-(N-methyl-N-propyl)amino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran or the like. |
