METHOD OF FABRICATING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method of fabricating a liquid crystal display is provided to harden glass powder through a simple screen printing technique to use the glass powder film as a thin-film glass substrate. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of barriers(10) are formed on a lower glass substrate(14) at a predetermined interval. Photoresist is filled between the barriers. Glass powder is uniformly dispensed on the barriers and photoresist, and then hardened. An upper glass substrate(20) is placed above the glass powder film, having a predetermined distance from the glass powder film(18). Liquid crystal(6) is injected into the space between the upper glass substrate and the glass powder film. The glass powder is hardened through screen printing and spin coating. The photoresist is vaporized while the glass powder is being hardened to secure a discharge space.
