PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contacts of a relay from deteriorating. SOLUTION: When receiving an off signal outputted by operating an ignition switch 42, this control device detects a rotational speedωfrom a rotational speed sensor 44 on a motor 32. When the rotational speedωis smaller than a thresholdωref, and when it is determined that a battery 22 is not being charged, a signal that turns off relays 28, 30 is outputted. Because these relays 28, 30 are turned off while the battery 22 is not being charged, arcing is made preventable that is caused when the relays is turned off in the charging state. As a result, the deterioration of the relays can be prevented.
