The invention relates to a process for the solvent treatment of distilled mineral oils, applicable in petrochemistry. According to the invention, the process consists in using concomitantly the (dried) anhydrous furfurol, in order to ensure the required quality for the solvented oil and also of the moist furfurol having a water content from 3 to 10 % by weight for the separation of residue solution concentrated in polyciclic and aromatic components.
