PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an interference of a lever arranged on an upper part of a battery with the battery in an electric fork-lift truck when removing the battery upward from the fork-lift truck or mounting it for maintenance, replacement, or the like. SOLUTION: In a lever mechanism provided with the lever 1 of the electric fork-lift truck operated by an operator and a link member coupled to a rotary shaft 5 of the lever 1 via a universal link and changing a rotational motion of the lever 1 into a displacement motion of a pressure control valve 81 adjusting oil pressure, a lever bracket 2 supporting the rotary shaft 5 of the lever 1 is attached to a body bracket 3 journalled to a rotary shaft 6 supported on a fork-lift truck body. By releasing a lock between a battery cover 54 and the body bracket 3, the body bracket 3 can be rotated toward a fork-lift truck front around the rotary shaft 6 at an angle larger than during a normal lever operation.
