PURPOSE: Installation structure of a weather strip for a door in a vehicle is provided to prevent noise, and to improve appearance and reliability by restricting deformation of a rib from difference of heat shrinkage in contacting the linear part to the corner part. CONSTITUTION: A weather strip(S) is composed of a fitting part(11) inserted to an assembling channel formed in an inner panel of a door, and a seal part(12) formed in the side of the fitting part and elastically contacted to a body. The weather strip is divided into a horizontal and vertical linear part(14) and a corner part(15) to contact to the body evenly, and the fitting part is combined with the assembling channel by sticking to each other. A rib(13) of the linear part is extended longitudinally, and an extension part(13a) of the rib is mounted in the fitting part of the corner part. Deformation of the rib is prevented from difference of heat shrinkage in contacting by forming the linear part and the corner part individually. Noise is shut off efficiently with contacting the seal part to the body evenly.
