PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the degree of water pollution apparatus for measuring, capable of accurately measurement, even when water having low degree of pollution is measured with simple maintenance, because cleaning is not required. SOLUTION: The measuring the degree of water pollution apparatus for submerges an optical fiber prove 9 cleaned by a cleaner 13 in polluted water 14, irradiates the water 14 with an ultraviolet rays emitted from a lamp 16, transmits a fluorescent light generated thereby to an optical fiber light distributor 10 through the probe 9, spectrally analyzes the transmitted fluorescent light by a spectrometer 11 for each prescribed wavelength, calculates using an analysis signal and a correction coefficient for each wavelength transmitted from the spectrometer 11 by a controller 8b, and displays the obtained degree-of- pollution measured value. The probe 9 has a curved reflecting mirror 16.
