The helicopter rotor has each blade (3) fixed to a pivot fitting (5) and a coupling (6) to the hub (2). An electrical connection cable (3) is mounted above the pivot fitting and the radial end (6b) of the coupling, around the folding axis (B-B). The cable is held in an eccentric position with respect to the folding axis at the side towards which the blade is folded. the cable has a support connected to the folding pivot.
