PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-hung window of a building capable of facilitating the work/assembly of a member. SOLUTION: A window frame 10 is formed of such a composite member as an outdoor side of a metal member 11a and an indoor side of a thermal insulating member 11b. A fixed sliding door 20 is mounted to the outdoor side of the window frame 10, and a ventilator 30 capable of being vertically moved is mounted to the indoor side. An outdoor side of a door frame of the ventilator 30 is formed of a metal member 30a, and an indoor side is formed of a composite member of a thermal insulating member 30b. Vertical auxiliary frames 17 for supporting the fixed sliding door 20 and guide members 16 for guiding the ventilator 30 are provided to opening sides of the jambs 15 for constituting the window frame 10. When a middle sash bar 13 is assembled between the jambs 15, every projection becoming a hindrance when both ends of the middle sash bar 13 is made to come into contact with the jambs 15 is capable of being brought into contact by processing of the middle sash bar 13 side. Places corresponding to the middle sash bar 13 in the vertical auxiliary frames 17 and the guide member 16 are not processed.
