PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document editing device which can easily apply an object in an existing document to a different document. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an object selecting part 8 selecting the object from an existing document file, an object selecting information storage part 9 preserving selected object information and coordinate information and a document preserving part 11 generating an output document file based on selection information of the object selection information storage part 9.
