PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the rapid obtainment of a computerized tomographic(CT) image for displaying a region of interest(ROI) in an observation area. SOLUTION: A window level and a window width are preset according to a CT value corresponding to each tissue of the observation area. The CT image is created according to the CT value acquired from a subject including the ROI (step S10). The mean CT value inside the ROI is calculated (step S30) after the ROI is set on the CT image (step S20). A value approximating most closely to the mean CT value is selected in comparison with the measured mean CT value of the ROI and the preset value of the window level (step S40). The selected preset value is applied to the CT image, and the window level of the ROI is automatically set to be a value for making observation easiest, in order to make the CT image displayed (step S50).
