Arrangement for testing the adhesion strength between a surface protective coating and a component underneath, by formation and growth of a crack in the surface layer, by pulling away of a special test body glued to the coating

Test body (40) for use in adhesion strength testing on a component (10). The test body is glued to the surface (41) component and then pulled away from the surface so that a crack (12) forms in the surface coating layer (11) of the component. As the test body is pulled away the crack extends and changes geometry in the direction of increasing thickness (42) of the test body. Independent claims are made for a test device for and a test method using the above test body for determination of adhesion strength between a coating layer and its component. The invention also relates to use of the test body, device and method for adhesion strength testing.
