PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To previously check whether an inputted character is a standard character, which is normally used for another computer system on a network, or not when inputting the character. SOLUTION: When a user inputs a character, a client computer 2 converts inputted key enter information to a character code and by referring to a standard character decision table 12, it is decided whether the character shown by the converted character code is a standard character, which is normally used for the other client computer on the network, or not. When it is decided that the character is not the standard character as a result, input control is performed for defining that character as a special character and distinguishing the standard character and the special character. |
