PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable output light even at the time of recording by increasing the oscillation amplitude of a high frequency super imposed circuit in such a case that the output light increases for recording. SOLUTION: When the amount of light increases at the time of recording, the laser oscillation is stabilized by increasing the oscillating output power of the high frequency superimposed circuit corresponding to the laser drive current. Application of reverse voltage to the laser is also unnecessary in reproduction with a low output power.
