COOLING SYSTEMS

Cooling of an enclosed space is effected by means of a cooling system comprising a plurality of cooling units forming ducts having an internal surface on which a layer of liquid is developed, e.g. by means of a wicking material, and through which air from the enclosed space is passed in contact with the liquid layer whereby the liquid is exposed to and evaporates into the air-flow with consequent cooling of the duct wall on which the liquid layer is developed.
